writing block

I'm still supposed to be writing a draft for a short communication paper. So of course it doesn' t have to be long, but it still must be complete. I've basically been avoiding my draft because I know it needs a major overhaul. I know that won't lead to a better draft but I distracted myselft w/ baking, cleaning, doing wedding stuff and playing a playstation game. I'm going to try to take an honest stab at the intro tonight. I even bundled my articles and packed them to take them w/ me so that I have no excuse not to read and write.

It made it up to 3 degrees F for lunch here today. It snowed some too so the walk back was colder w/ snow getting in the cracks of my scarf and hat. I saw an undergrad wearing only a hooded sweatshirt. How can you not where a coat or another layer of somekind in 3 degrees? Of course, she was shivering and freezing! I know you don't get sick from being cold, but walking around in this cold can' t be good for your immune system!
