lost and found USB

The other night I couldn't find my USB drive. I knew it was in my bag somewhere but I always put it in this little zipper pocket. I also put change in there, but recently I can never find any change. I thought I wasn't putting change in there that often, or I was spending it and not remembering spending it. My purse was getting heavier too. I finally realized due to the missing USB that there was a small hole in the bottom of the pocket and my USB and all my change was in between the lining of the bag and the leather outside. I fished out the USB via the hole and shook out about a pound of change! My purse is so much lighter now even with all my crap back in it. It was a fast way to fill up my change jar too!

It was pouring today and my street was flooding as I was driving to work. I had to straddle the yellow lines to avoid a couple feet of water on both sides. I know that is probably not the best way to drive but I wasn't going to submerge my car either.

Last night I went to the mall to get my free panty from Victoria Secret. I also got 5 others for $25 which is a pretty good deal and a new wireless bra for $10 off. This morning when I was unloading the stuff to put in the laundry I realized the sales chick had left the big plastic thing filled w/ ink or whatever on my bra! So now I will have to return it just to get that taken off, gggrrr.

I snapped at my labmate today. I didn't mean too but sometimes he blurts out questions and if he would just look two inches in front of his face he would find an answer! Yes two inches was real and not a hyperbole. I apologized because I don't like to yell/snap and it is unprofessional but he just said, Oh yeah I already forgot about that. He is just like that, which is good that he doesn't stay mad or hurt, but can also be difficult because he doesn't understand how when he yells or swears at me I might stay upset longer due to that treatment. In reality we get a long most of the time, but we are sort of like siblings in that we have been here so long together we can snap at each other but not at others.

Glad you found the USB. Mine is my life line.

Well at least you now know he doesn't think of these little arguments as anything major, although I'm not too keen on a lab mate that yells and swears at me.
