Today we weather proofed the windows in our bedroom. They are extremely drafty so hopefully the plastic really helps. E got me new binoculars for my birthday but I got to open them early. We went for walk and saw some dark-eyed junco's and chickadees. It is finally cold here so it feels like winter.

My post-doc is sending the official papers for me to sign so I'm excited but still nervous. I'm trying to map out all that I need to get done so I have a better idea about when I will finally finish and when we might actually move.
