Tuesday

So, I'm headed home in a few hours to visit my family before Christmas, so I can spend Christmas w/my fiance and his family. I'm a little nervous as I have never spent a holiday at their house before and his grandma will be there. His is house is so much quiter than mine that I'm not really sure what it will be like. At my house there is usually commotion but also tradition. This year though only one of my four siblings will be making it home for the holidays so it won't be so busy. That is sad though as I know my parents will feel like the house is empty even though there will be three grandparents around to celebrate with.
One of my siblings told me she would buy gifts for the grandparents and then we could all chip in, but alas she bailed out on it. So now I have to do some last minute shopping!

I cut out of work yesterday afternoon early and bought stuff for my inlaws to be side of the family, friends and parents. It would have been nice to add my grandparents to the list yesterday as I trekked out to the mall I never visit. Oh well. I found a gift for one set of grandparents on my lunch break today. Only one grandma to go and a few friends. I like to shop for friends though, I actually like picking stuff out, but I'm running low on funds as I stil haven't been reimbursed for the expesive conference trip I took last month. Today I found out that the credit card receipt to the airline showing I paid for the tickets wasn't enough, no I had to send a copy of my itenerary to get remimbursed, although in the past they always wanted my credit card receipt and emails/ copy of airline stuff was not good enough! I already paid $500 bucks out of pocket just for airfare, isn't that enough you stupid University who doesn't pay my tuition!!
